Collaborative Couples Therapy Weekend,

“Celebrate Valentine’s Day Couple’s Weekend”

 Dan Wile and Dorothy Kaufmann

A couple problem is really two problems: (1) the problem itself (money, sex, children)
and (2) how partners talk or don’t talk about it.

The quality of life in a relationship depends on our ability to recover from the inevitable periods of fighting or withdrawing; that is, from turning each other into enemies or strangers.  Read more and Register for the Weekend...

About Therapy

Change is Possible. Using a range of skills to help explore solutions and develop insights into your relationships. Proven elements of successful therapy:
Most people work against what they DON'T want rather than for what they DO want.

A safe relationship, cultivated over time, allowing the client to express thoughts and feelings which can help to identify one's true inner voice, unmet needs and goals which ultimately can lead to change, this leads to a reduction of suffering and movement towards building a sense of well-being and fulfillment in important relationships, work and day to day activities. ................................................................................................... As one of my young clients put it: What is therapy? "Therapy is like an onion. the more you cut, the more teary your eyes get. But, after a while, it gets better and you wipe your eyes with a towel and put the onion into a big, truthful salad which you eat and you feel better." Ava B

Goal Oriented

Laara helped me to set goals for therapy. It felt good to know what steps to take next and she celebrated with me when we were done.

Hope is a terrific motivator. Feeling that something is going to work is often a large part of the equation in successful treatment.

Laara’s clients believe that she will be helpful because she communicates both verbally and non-verbally that she is someone the client can trust.

Laara helped me learn to accept and appreciate myself, as I am. That has helped me in all of my relationships, with my partner, friends, family, children and co-workers.
